Make yourselves at home in one of three comfortable self-catering cottages at Nannerth Country Holidays, set on our 200 acre organic farm in Mid Wales. The cottages were once working farm buildings for livestock and hay storage, now carefully restored into places that are warm, well-equipped and easy to settle into.
Each cottage has its own space and feel, and each one includes a private hot tub. With three different sizes, they suit couples, families, and groups of friends. Across all three, we can accommodate 2 to 15 guests, plus cots.

Tollant Barn Conversion (sleeps 6 to 7 plus cot)
A converted barn with a sunny deck and private hot tub, plus a sheltered roof garden. A good fit for families and groups who want space, comfort, and somewhere relaxing to come back to.
Granary Holiday Cottage (sleeps 4 plus cot)
A sweet cottage with an open plan living space, a south facing deck with private hot tub, and a lawned garden. Great for family breaks, with easy access to the old farmyard garden and children’s play area.
The Loft Cottage Apartment (sleeps 2 plus cot)
A charming apartment at the top of the owners’ farmhouse, popular with couples. Enjoy the views, a comfortable living space with dining area and kitchenette, and a sheltered roof garden for sitting out.
Low occupancy discount (Tollant) Some couples choose Tollant even when they do not need all the space. In the low season, we offer a low occupancy discount for two guests. When booking, enter the number of guests and you will see the price reduce substantially if there are just two of you. Please get in touch if you would like more information.

Relax in Tranquil Elan Valley Surroundings
These Mid Wales holiday lodges have been restored and converted into stylish and comfortable, high quality accommodation. Each self catering Mid Wales holiday cottage comes with a private hot tub and private garden area. They offer a good range of options to suit families, couples and groups of friends. We can accommodate couples romantic retreats to bigger groups of people up to 15.
Explore outdoors
Guests can easily access the farm facilities which include a laundry room, outdoor play area, Ty Bach (loo) with shower and resource room. Meadows and woodland are all around the holiday cottages, and most areas of the farm are free for guests to explore. With our self-catering holiday cottages, you can enjoy the flexible way to have a relaxing staycation in Wales whilst feeling at home in your holiday cottage. You can literally explore from the moment you walk out of the door.
Choose cycling, mountain biking or walking on the farm. The farm terrain offers a variety of trails and paths, some challenging, some easygoing. You should find something suitable for all ages and abilities without having to get in the car. There is also direct access to the wider amazing countryside for those who want a good long yomp or in open countryside or a day out on mountain bikes.

Feed the Birds
Your self catering cottage is a good place to see birdlife, with over 50 species of birds recorded. Guests on a Wales staycation often enjoy watching birds from their deck or garden as they feed or raise their young. Long lens cameras, binoculars, and telescopes are much in evidence during May, June and early July. This is when the summer visiting birds can be seen all over the farm.
Family Friendly Farm Cottages
We are family friendly, so you can be sure your children will enjoy staying in our large family holiday cottage. Some are reluctant to leave when it’s home time, and many families rebook to stay at Nannerth Country Holidays year after year. Our two very friendly working cocker spaniels are sometimes willing to take a walk with guests and often become firm favourites with the children. There is an indoor games room, an outdoor play area, as well as farm activities for the family to enjoy.The self catering cottages have cots and high chairs available.
Equipment and Amenities
The Elan Valley holiday cottages and apartment have well-equipped kitchens, each with a hob, oven, and microwave. For your self catering holiday needs, the Tollant and Granary have a fridge and freezer, and the Loft has a fridge with freezer compartment. Each has a dishwasher. Bedlinen and bathroom towels are provided, but not outdoor towels. Logs for evening use are provided. There is a kitchen tub containing washing up liquid, brush, and cloth as well as cleaning products.
The shared laundry room has 2 washing machines, a coin operated tumble dryer and a large butler sink. Parking is close to the accommodation.
We also offer a purpose built dogstay cabin with secure outdoor run if you would like to bring your dog. Dogs are not allowed in the cottages, but the dogstay cabin is available to guests at a modest daily rate.
