Farm News June 2012 - Nannerth Country Holidays
It's always exciting in Wales! Balmy hot days followed by monsoon rains - droughts and then floods! Fortunately we didn't have any flooding here and once the rain stops there will be lush green vegetation and lovely gardens to enjoy. The birds are singing flat out as their young fledge and leave the nests.
Our wildlife camera system will be a resource for all to use, with the live streaming available in the new resource room. We hope to capture badgers, water vole and all kinds of birds as they nest and feed and the new system should be especially valuable for older people and those who can't walk far.
We now have the dates for Daniel Butler's one day Fungi Forays in the Autumn. Learn about all the fungi you find whilst walking in the wonderful countryside near Nannerth. Cost including lunch and other treats is £50.00 per person and 2012 dates are 22, 23, 29 and 30 September and 6, 7, 13 and 14 October. Visit the website for more details and to book directly. http://www.fungiforays.co.uk/index.php/index/
