Autumn at Nannerth
November frosts have brought the leaves tumbling off the trees and carpeted the yard in yellow. It takes Brian most of Saturday just to clear them. So far the VERY cold winter hasn't happened yet but we are gathering in plenty of fuel and animal feed just in case. Bookings are now quiet for the gypsy caravan and showman's caravan, which is a shame as they are both beautifully cosy in all seasons. Alys the gypsy caravan is now in her winter quarters - the private farm yard behind the big barn. By next spring the garden there should be well established and pretty, with a secluded place to sit and watch activities in the lambing area! The chiminea has been very popular for evenings outdoors. The Showmans will be having a new cooker very soon and some redecorating. The farmland birds and badgers are active in that area of the farm so plenty of action there!
