This cosy self catering holiday cottage was once the farm granary. It is in the old farm yard with original stone buildings around a courtyard garden. The cottage retains the stone and timberwork of the original construction and has been renovated with polished wood floors, a woodburner and a mix of period and modern furniture. It is centrally heated and has a wood burner for cosy evenings in.
The cottage is well equipped for self catering; the open plan sitting/dining room has a spacious well equipped kitchen area, with oak worksurfaces and a ceramic hob. French windows open from the living area onto a south facing balcony and deck area, perfect for lazy summer days. The pretty twin and double rooms upstairs have some exposed timber framing and there is an attractive shower room.
The garden, to the south and west, has a table and chairs for eating out and a barbecue is available on request. A hot tub for Granary guests only is to the side of the deck in a sheltered position and can accommodate 4 people. Facilities and equipment include, central heating, logburner, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, oven, hob, TV/DVD, radio, cot, books and games. Laundry room with free washing machines 20m approx. Parking adjacent to property. Guests have free use of the nature resource room and the badger hide.
